  • Where?: ORE Catapult, Blyth, England
  • When?: April 8-9, 2019
  • What?: In a workshop setting, experts will be expected to exchange information and ideas to improve cable component reliability and the availability of the system as a whole.
  • Who?: academia, research institutes, OEM's, wind farm owners/operators, cable manufacturers and installers.
  • Why?: to establish a list of recommendations for health monitoring, new materials and components, and understanding failure modes and test methodologies as well as for changes to the existing standards, regulations and legislation.

Notes :
  • Participations fees :
    • for experts working in countries participating in Task 11, no participation fee applies
    • for experts working in countries not participating in Task 11, a participation fee of 1’000 EUR per country applies (the invoice will be sent per email, no online payment possible). This applies for each country to only one TEM a year. A country not participating in Task 11 can thus only participate to one of the four annual TEMs.

Invited Experts: To register, please click on the register button below (it will appear as soon as registration is open), log-in with your email address (if it’s your first time connecting you’ll need to first click on "can't access your account?" and enter your email address to reset your password) and then follow the online registering procedure to the event (selection of sessions etc.).

Interested Participants: The registration button will only work if you have been invited to participate at this TEM. We can accommodate additional participants (usually subject to your working country's ExCo member's approval). Please contact the Operating Agent of Task 11 at ieawindtask11@planair.ch to be added to the guest list.

Important: If resetting your password doesn't work (see procedure above under invited expert), it means that you are not yet on the guest list for this event (compiled by the organizing team and the IEA Wind TCP ExCo). In this case, the procedure explained under interested participants applies.
