  • Where?: Montana State University, Bozeman, Montana
  • When?: June 5-7, 2018
  • What?: In a workshop setting, experts will be encouraged to provide input and insights on how a durability and damage design process could look like for wind blades
  • Who?: academia, research labs, OEM’s, wind plant owner/operators, certifiers, and blade service providers. In addition, experts from the aerospace industry will be invited to provide their experience
  • Why?: to establish the bases of a framework for the DADT process for wind blades and provide recommendations for changes to blade standards

Notes :
  • Participations fees :
    • for experts working in countries participating in Task 11, no participation fee applies
    • for experts working in countries not participating in Task 11, a participation fee of 1’000 EUR per country applies (the invoice will be sent per email, no online payment possible)
  • This meeting has been scheduled during the same week than Josh Paquette's project workshop (details will follow) so that those interested might be able to attend both and leverage the travel time and expense
