TEM#100 on Aviation System Cohabitation

Key information on TEM#100

  • Where: online Zoom meeting.
  • When: December 8-10, 2020 (4h sessions)
  • What: in a workshop setting, experts will be encouraged to  share experiences, engage in policy discussion and gather good practices granting best possible cohabitation between aviation and wind energy plants
  • Who: civil aviation authorities, national defence departments, national and regional energy boards and wind energy associations, industry (wind farm operators, wind turbine OEMs, radar system manufacturers) and academia (universities, research insitutes)
  • Why: to establish a set of recommended policies for different contexts, based on worldwide experience and good practices, as a precious tool for the wind energy sector and for policy makers.

Registration Procedure

  • Invited Experts: To register, please click on the register button below (it will appear as soon as registration is open), log-in with your email address and then follow the online registering procedure to the event.
    If you have trouble connecting you’ll need to first click on "Can't access your account?" and enter your email address to reset your password.
    If it is your first time being involved with IEA Wind and you do not possess an account yet, you can request one by clicking on "New User/Register Now". It will need to be validated by an admin before you can register (an e-mail to ieawindtask11@planair.ch can speed up the activation).
  • Interested Participants: We can accommodate additional participants (subject to your working country's ExCo member's approval). Please contact the Operating Agent of Task 11 at ieawindtask11@planair.ch to be added to the guest list.

Notes :

  • Engagement:
    • Participants are encouraged to contribute actively by presenting in one of the sessions, and participating to the small group discussions. Please indicate your interest in the registration form.
  • Participations fee :
    • for experts working in countries participating in Task 11, no participation fee applies
    • for experts working in countries not participating in Task 11, a participation fee of 1’000 EUR per country applies to the first TEM (the invoice will be sent per email, no online payment possible). For additionnal TEMs, a participation fee of 2'500 EUR applies.
  • By registering to this event, you allow IEA Wind to keep your contact information and publish pictures of you on their online community platform and social media.
