Objectives: Produced an annual overview of the progress in the commercial development of wind turbine systems in the IEA member countries.

Progress and Achievements


The objective of this Task was to produce an annual overview of the progress in the commercial development of wind turbine systems in the IEA member countries participating in this Agreement in a form suitable for presentation to decision makers in government, planning authorities, the electricity supply industry, financial institutions and the wind industry.

The Task aimed to identify major trends in initiatives and attitudes that are likely to be of interest to decision makers rather than to produce detailed statistics of installations and their performance.
